The Remodelors Council Ramp Project is a program sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead’s Remodelors Council. The program’s goal is to provide accessibility ramps for the elderly or disabled in order for them to remain in their homes. It is designed for people who don’t have the capacity to do the work themselves or can’t afford to hire a contractor. The Remodelors Council provides volunteers from the HBA membership who will build ramps at no cost to the homeowner. If you have accessibility needs and would like to be considered for a ramp project, please contact Michelle Hovde at (701) 232-5846 or michelle@hbafm.com.
Extensive projects cannot be considered due to limited funds and volunteers The Remodelors Council Ramp Project Committee will determine which homes meet eligibility requirements. The property should be located within city limits. If the home needs major repairs, or is not structurally sound, the homeowner will be referred to the appropriate agency or program. Selected homeowners will be notified by mail or phone.
