Executive Committee

The Home Builders Association of F-M's Executive Committee consists of the president, president elect, treasurer, Associate vice president, secretary and immediate past president. The executive committee is elected from the board of directors, by the board of directors, and hold their offices for one year.

Directors

The HBA of F-M's board of directors consists of at least 17 members, excluding ex-officios. At least ten are Builders and no more than seven are Associates. The past president, National Directors or their alternates, Life Directors and Senior Life Directors are ex-officio members of the board of directors.

National Directors and Ex-Officios to the HBA Board of Directors

The HBA of F-M designates National Directors to represent its membership each year on the National Association of Home Builders' board of directors. To become a Life Director with a permanent seat on the NAHB board, a National Director has to attend at least two meetings per year for ten years.

A Life Director who has attended two meetings per year for a period of ten consecutive years shall be designated as a Senior Life Director. Senior Life Directors have attended two meetings per year for a period of twenty years and shall have permanent voting rights with no continuing attendance requirement.
