The 2020 Red River Valley Home & Garden Show is unveiling fresh, new features designed to mix things up a bit and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Located in the southwest corner of the field level, the Kid's Corner will bring kids and their parents, down to where the action is! This area will include games, coloring and Legos for creations of all sorts.
Located in the southeast corner along with lawn games and a sitting, the Beer Garden will provide a space for customers to kick back and relax as it can get tiring walking through the 110,000-sq.ft. of exhibit space!
The stage will remain in the northwest corner of the field level and provide those elements of summer we all yearn for: backyards and grilling. Don Kinzler, gardening columnist in The Forum, will present workshops on a variety of gardening topics. North Dakota State University BBQ Bootcamp will host sessions on backyard grilling systems (gas, charcoal, pellet grills and home smokers) along with information on spices, rubs, marinades and sauces.
Cass County Electric Cooperative will again sponsor free parking on Friday to launch the weekend.
Admission will be a lower, flat rate of $7 all weekend, and children age 18 and under are free.
